Out of the box, Go2Sleep is impressive. Weighing only 6 grams, I was immediately drawn to the design. The cylindrical shape of the device is lightweight and easy to use.
I'm starting to wonder about wearing the device all night. I'm already a light sleeper, so I'm asking if Go2Sleep might be causing the problem.
SleepOn, the creator of Go2Sleep, claims the device is light enough not to cause additional discomfort to the user. I think that's a big complaint because I know some people might have a hard time getting used to the feel of the ring at first. Happily,Go2Sleep offers three different sizes of silicone ring holders, so finding one that works for you shouldn't be too difficult..which leads me to believe that the ring design won't be much of a problem for most people, so the Go2Sleep has earned its place there.

While there are similar devices on the market (more on that later), SleepOn touts its product as an active, innovative sleep technology that helps you sleep better. Have you finally found a way to get rid of those sleepless nights forever? Well, not exactly.
The first thing I want to know is how exactly Go2Sleep monitors and provides user results. SleepOn uses the capillaries of the human hand to deliver the accuracy of medical device benchmarks. I take these claims with a grain of salt. Finally, SleepOn has launched a product. Regular users can take these claims at face value. But should you?
The built-in Go2Sleep sensor monitors your sleep quality every night, taking factors like exercise into account. While these sensors are mostly accurate,A common problem with some sleep trackers is detecting when the user is sleeping and not just lying in bed.
It can be frustrating when a device that promises to improve your sleeping habits doesn't accurately detect when you're sleeping. Go2Sleep notifies you instantly when your blood oxygen levels drop too low. When Go2Sleep notices this, it vibrates slightly to remind you. If you're a light sleeper, you might hear this and immediately think this feature will annoy you. You'll be happy to know that many users who also describe themselves as light sleepers claim that these vibrations are so subtle that they're never fully awakened by them.

The tips and advice for improving sleep quality provided by Go2Sleep are interesting, but I can't say that all users will experience the proven benefits. While the suggestions about reading before bed and avoiding social media were helpful, I felt the app's recommendations might not be as personalized as advertised. Most of the hints given seem to be very general and can be easily found with any google search on the topic.

In a wearable technology that claims to be as good as Go2Sleep, precision is a key factor. SleepOn ensures that your device delivers accurate results based on its own "SleepFit Algorithm". Not so fast.
I found some of the user reviews to be illuminating to say the least. In an Amazon review, a mother wrote that she bought the Go2Sleep to monitor her daughter's breathing while she slept. He called the device "extremely inaccurate" because of the low-level heartbeats reported by verifiable sources. This user claims his sleep monitor is fully charged and believes that explains such inaccuracies.
In another negative review, users reported very similar results. She also tested Go2Sleep using other sources and found different measurements. Even if you believed SleepOn and assumed that these users' devices might be faulty, you couldn't be sure. Of course, this might be a rare thing, but what if it's not?
It should also be noted that the SleepOn website does not provide scientific data to back up the accuracy of Go2Sleep. While my own testing of the ring found no major faults, it's something to consider before buying one for yourself.
