Go2Sleep Review: The Best Sleep Solution? (1)

Go2Sleep is the latest in wearable technology, delivering great results in a sleek, compact design. Since we sleep most of the time, I was immediately intrigued by this product. As someone who suffers from frequent insomnia, I wanted to see if the Go2Sleep ring could support Prides. How much can Go2Sleep help you if your nights aren't so crisp? Let's find out.

Innovative design, easy to set up

Out of the box, Go2Sleep is impressive. Weighing only 6 grams, I was immediately drawn to the design. The cylindrical shape of the device is lightweight and easy to use.

I'm starting to wonder about wearing the device all night. I'm already a light sleeper, so I'm asking if Go2Sleep might be causing the problem.

SleepOn, the creator of Go2Sleep, claims the device is light enough not to cause additional discomfort to the user. I think that's a big complaint because I know some people might have a hard time getting used to the feel of the ring at first. Happily,Go2Sleep offers three different sizes of silicone ring holders, so finding one that works for you shouldn't be too difficult..which leads me to believe that the ring design won't be much of a problem for most people, so the Go2Sleep has earned its place there.

Contains Go2SleepThe charging station is also well designed and easy to use.It has a magnetic strip to which the ring attaches, making it easy to charge the device. For example, put the charging stand on the bedside table, and you can easily put down the ring to charge every morning.

Go2Sleep gets another score for ease of setup. For first use, simply download the SleepOn iOS/Android app, set your preferences and sync your phone. Setup takes a little over two minutes, and then...boom...your new ring is ready to collect data.

Humanized experience and innovative functions

Let's dig into the greatness that Go2Sleep promises.

Said to range from sleep apnea to insomnia, Go2Sleep not only tracks your sleep, but also provides complex data in an easily accessible format. Using Go2Sleep is said to improve sleep habits.

While there are similar devices on the market (more on that later), SleepOn touts its product as an active, innovative sleep technology that helps you sleep better. Have you finally found a way to get rid of those sleepless nights forever? Well, not exactly.

The first thing I want to know is how exactly Go2Sleep monitors and provides user results. SleepOn uses the capillaries of the human hand to deliver the accuracy of medical device benchmarks. I take these claims with a grain of salt. Finally, SleepOn has launched a product. Regular users can take these claims at face value. But should you?

Sleep quality

The built-in Go2Sleep sensor monitors your sleep quality every night, taking factors like exercise into account. While these sensors are mostly accurate,A common problem with some sleep trackers is detecting when the user is sleeping and not just lying in bed.

It can be frustrating when a device that promises to improve your sleeping habits doesn't accurately detect when you're sleeping. Some users reported staring at the ceiling for 30 minutes or more, but their sleep monitor reported that those extra 30 minutes were spent sleeping. Unfortunately, Go2Sleep seems to have this problem too.

While Go2Sleep's sightings may be biased, they're not exactly impressive in terms of skill. One of the most interesting sleep quality features is the device's "toss and turn" measurement. Many users said the data collected from their nighttime traffic was very accurate. Go2Sleep tends to identify these findings and use them to compile a detailed report on sleep patterns.

What does Go2Sleep contain?

sleep apnea test

Sleep apnea currently affects about18 million people in the US alone.Untreated sleep disorders can lead to health risks such as:Increased risk of obesity, heart attack, and high blood pressure.SleepOn tries to help Go2Sleep users discover this disorder through its unique sleep report data results.

While you may not personally suffer from sleep apnea, you may find that Go2Sleep's ability to detect sleep apnea has some significant drawbacks. For example, Go2Sleep cannot directly monitor respiratory rate or measure airflow. While other features of the ring can certainly help identify symptoms of sleep apnea, this should not be considered a complete diagnosis. For example, it's best to consult your doctor when distinguishing between obstructive sleep apnea and central sleep apnea.

Heart rate/blood oxygen monitoring

Go2Sleep does a few things really well, with blood oxygen/heart rate monitoring at the top of the list.

With the Go2Sleep touch sensor you can gain valuable information about your BPM measurements while sleeping. While this feature is very common in wearables today, Go2Sleep goes above and beyond in explaining what these reports mean.

I bet you don't keep an eye on your blood oxygen levels very often. I can understand! But you might be surprised how much Go2Sleep can teach you about anything related to blood oxygen levels. Thanks to clear reports and recommendations, you gain a better understanding of your current health status.

Go2Sleep notifies you instantly when your blood oxygen levels drop too low. When Go2Sleep notices this, it vibrates slightly to remind you. If you're a light sleeper, you might hear this and immediately think this feature will annoy you. You'll be happy to know that many users who also describe themselves as light sleepers claim that these vibrations are so subtle that they're never fully awakened by them.

SleepOn does a good job of making that feature useful without being annoying. The creators of Go2Sleep apparently aimed to increase the chances of the body repositioning naturally to reduce the risk of sleep apnea. After reading many examples of positive user experiences using this feature, I believe this is a promise that Go2Sleep can deliver.

Comprehensive report

No one likes trying to understand complex charts and graphs. Of course, SleepOn created Go2Sleep with this in mind. I findThe format of the comprehensive report is very easy to use.Browsing the data is easy and I'm sure you'll have fun looking at the daily reports.

In each report, Go2Sleep compares your sleep activity by day, week and month. This format is especially cool because it makes it easier to spot trends in your sleep activity. You can record your daily activities in the application. With this feature, users can track how their daytime activities affect their night's sleep.

The tips and advice for improving sleep quality provided by Go2Sleep are interesting, but I can't say that all users will experience the proven benefits. While the suggestions about reading before bed and avoiding social media were helpful, I felt the app's recommendations might not be as personalized as advertised. Most of the hints given seem to be very general and can be easily found with any google search on the topic.

How accurate is Go2Sleep?

Let's get back to the real question: how accurate is Go2Sleep?

In a wearable technology that claims to be as good as Go2Sleep, precision is a key factor. SleepOn ensures that your device delivers accurate results based on its own "SleepFit Algorithm". Not so fast.

I found some of the user reviews to be illuminating to say the least. In an Amazon review, a mother wrote that she bought the Go2Sleep to monitor her daughter's breathing while she slept. He called the device "extremely inaccurate" because of the low-level heartbeats reported by verifiable sources. This user claims his sleep monitor is fully charged and believes that explains such inaccuracies.

In another negative review, users reported very similar results. She also tested Go2Sleep using other sources and found different measurements. Even if you believed SleepOn and assumed that these users' devices might be faulty, you couldn't be sure. Of course, this might be a rare thing, but what if it's not?

It should also be noted that the SleepOn website does not provide scientific data to back up the accuracy of Go2Sleep. While my own testing of the ring found no major faults, it's something to consider before buying one for yourself.

Other sleep trackers to help you sleep better

Every market has competition, and sleep trackers are no exception. Want to consider your options before making a decision? Here are some other options. While these rings don't detect sleep apnea like Go2Sleep does, they have their own unique capabilities.

THIM smart ring

THIM's smart ring is designed to help you "retrain to sleep".

1 secondthemHas many of the same features, but is executed differently. As I mentioned, a common problem with sleep tracking rings is tracking sleep while you're awake. THIM solves this problem by checking if you are asleep. THIM vibrates every 30 seconds and you can touch it with your finger to respond. If you don't touch, THIM will assume you are asleep and start collecting data.

When you start to fall asleep, THIM vibrates every three minutes for the first hour to wake you up and put you back to sleep. THIM's creators say that, over time, it will encourage you to fall asleep faster.

Anel Daola

EuropeAnel DaolaIt resembles a typical ring, with the sensor only visible on the inner band of the ring.

Oura covers a wider range of health factors, while THIM and Go2Sleep focus primarily on tracking sleep. With features like a body temperature sensor, infrared LEDs, and a 3D accelerometer, Oura might be best for those interested in tracking activity and sleep.

That said, Oura tracks sleep stages, such as REM sleep, deep sleep, and light sleep, as well as sleep trends and quality measurements. If you like the idea of a sleep tracking ring that doesn't look like much, the Oura might be an option to consider.
